How often should I have my air conditioner serviced?
Generally, once a year is sufficient for domestic air conditioning units that aren't used constantly and are only used for cooling in the warmer months. This allows filters to be cleaned and will ensure your system is efficient when in use.

Commercial units on the other hand, should be serviced at least twice a year. Servicing will help the system work at optimal performance all year ‘round. If your system is exposed to high pollution or air contaminants, we recommend carrying out additional services.
Why is my air conditioner leaking?
There are a number of reasons why your air conditioner may be leaking water inside your home. The first and most common we see, is that the condensate that is usually produced and drained away, is not draining but instead overflowing into the home. This is usually because dirt has clogged up in the drain hole, so the water has no choice but to drain into your home.

At times, the problem can be that the pump used to drain the condensate has failed and needs replacing. Or, a leak can even come from a dislodged drainage pipe, which can make the water drain into your home.

We do not recommend trying DIY techniques to fix your leaking air conditioner, simply give us a call and we'll come assess the issue and fix it promptly.
Why is my circuit breaker tripping?
A circuit breaker that is tripping may be annoying, but it is actually a good thing. This system trips to protect the circuit from overheating and prevents damage to your electrics. The most common cause of this problem is an overloaded circuit.

Circuit overloads occur when it's trying to draw more power than it is designed to carry. This may happen if you are running multiple devices that are connected to the same circuit at the same time. To determine whether this was the reason for your circuit breaker tripping, unplug all appliances before resetting the circuit.
How do I reset my tripped circuit breaker?
Resetting a tripped circuit breaker is quite simple. All you need to do is locate your electrical panel and look for the circuit switch that is facing against the other switches. Once you've found the culprit, flip it back to the OFF position and then to ON. If it stays put, you don't have much to worry about however, if it continues to trip even after resetting you will need to contact us.
